02 / THE EFFECTS

Flashing and moving pictures

The games are made to overwhelm you: pictures, flashes, spirals and shaking grow until you lose. They never flash more than three times a second. Effects: Normal lightens them, and a system set to reduced motion keeps still frames. Stop and Escape end every effect at once.

If you are sensitive to flashing lights, or if you feel unwell, stop playing.

Vivian's pictures and Danbooru

Vivian's pictures are hers. Danbooru pictures belong to their artists: the arcade shows them by the tags you choose and leaves out a locked list of themes that never appear, but tags can be wrong. If something you see is not for you, press Stop.

The games, words and art of the arcade are Vivian's. Share links to the arcade freely; do not pass her work off as yours or sell it. The games are provided as they are, without any guarantee that they work or keep working.
